Boasting some of the most iconic monuments and landmarks in the world, including the Louvre Museum, Notre-Dame, Arc de Triomphe and Eiffel Tower, it's easy to understand why Paris is a top destination for immigrants. It is the capital of France and also the most densely populated city in the country. Paris has always attracted artists, writers, musicians, filmmakers and fashion designers, resulting in a rich cultural history that has been thriving to this very day. Paris is also known for its fine dining and excellent cuisine. Expats can benefit from the city's moderate climate, with temperatures rarely dipping below freezing in the winter or above 25∞C in the summer. Whilst the price of living in Paris can be pretty high, France has a strong economy with plenty of jobs for its residents, just don't forget to polish up on your French.
Shipping your items to Paris is as easy as spotting the Eiffel Tower and we can help you decide on which size container would be most suitable for you to use. Generally, a 20-foot container would be best suited for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, but if you were taking a car in addition, a 40-foot container would be better. A 40-foot container should also be enough to accommodate the belongings inside a 4 or 5-bedroom house.
In general a car will fit into a 20ft container. You will also need to consider quarantine and tax charges usually levied on importing vehicles.
