Shipping Container Costs to Canada

If you’re planning a move to the other side of the pond, then getting all your belongings overseas to Canada doesn’t have to be a daunting prospect.

There are four major ports in Canada on both the east and west coast, so getting your items shipped to the most convenient location is easy. MoveHub can help you find the right moving company to get everything there safely, whether you’re starting a new life in Montreal in the east or Vancouver in the west.

Different shipping options to Canada

With such a huge expanse of water between Canada and most countries, understandably overland is not a viable option, but getting your belonging over to the other side of the Atlantic or Pacific can still be nice and simple if you send them by air or sea

If you’re in a hurry then air is by far the quickest solution with most stuff arriving within 3 days. However, this speediness comes at a price, so if you’re looking for the most cost effective route and have time to spare, sending your stuff by sea is going to be a better option and should still arrive in good time.

With international shipping, door-to-door delivery comes as standard, so even if you aren’t living close to one of the major ports it still shouldn’t be an issue getting your items to your new home. But you will have to allow a little more shipping time for the overland.
