Salt Lake City is a unique and interesting city located in Utah, in the western portion of the United States. Founded by Brigham Young and several other mormon followers in 1847, Salt Lake City is Utah's capital and most populous city. The city itself is laid out as a grid and offers different types of neighbourhoods, from culturally diverse areas in the western portion of the city to areas such as The Avenues that offer intimate, Victorian style housing. Salt Lake City is bursting with culture, offering both professional and amateur theatre, dance companies, countless music venues and cinemas. The Church History Museum offers an insight into the history of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which is the religious foundation of the city. Eight ski resorts are located within 50 miles of Salt Lake City, making it the perfect place to get away for the weekend and enjoy some fun winter sports. There are two different sizes of shipping container to choose from, depending on how much you need to move. A 40-foot container will house the items from inside a 4 or 5-bedroom house, or the contents of a 3-bedroom house along with a car. Alternatively, a 20-foot container will accommodate the contents of a 3-bedroom house, with a little room left over for a bike or two.
In general a car will fit into a 20ft container. You will also need to consider quarantine and tax charges usually levied on importing vehicles.
