Aloha! Welcome to the island paradise of Hawaii and it's capital and most populous city, the beautiful Honolulu. Located on the island of Oahu, Honolulu is a dream location and if you like beaches, beautiful weather and rich history, it will be the perfect place to call home. As the state's largest city, Honolulu is a hub for all the Hawaiian Islands and the portal to the mainland United States. Perhaps best know for being the home of Pearl Harbour, Honolulu's history dates back to the 11th century. Due to this long lineage of natives, there are strong ties to Hawaiian heritage seen all over the city and reflected in its population. The biggest source of employment and revenue for the area is its thriving tourist industry. People travel from all over the world to experience the wonderful weather (warm and consistent year round), relax on the beaches and in the resorts and swim in the crystal blue warm waters of the Pacific Ocean. Two of the most notable people born in Honolulu are U.S. president, Barack Obama and (surprisingly) actress Nicole Kidman. Before you settle into your island paradise, you'll have to plan your move and we have a guide that will make it easy to figure out. If you are moving from a 4 or 5-bedroom house, or a 3-bedroom house and have a car, then the 40-foot shipping container is for you. If you're moving from a 3-bedroom, the 20-foot should fit all of your belongings - just don't forget your swimsuit!
In general a car will fit into a 20ft container. You will also need to consider quarantine and tax charges usually levied on importing vehicles.
