Despite the economic crisis that has hit the country, Greece still offers expats plenty of work and investment opportunities. It is hard not to be enthralled by this country, with its rich cultural heritage, scenic spots and sunny climate. There are plenty of leisure and entertainment choices, and life is made even better by the friendly hospitality of the locals.
Before you ship your household goods to Greece, make sure to choose the right shipping container size. Choose a 20-foot container if you're moving from a 3-bedroom house. Choose a 40-foot container if you're taking a car as well, or if your belongings fit into a 4- or 5-bedroom house.
In general a car will fit into a 20ft container. You will also need to consider quarantine and tax charges usually levied on importing vehicles.
